AQUA M5 – Microbial solution for toxic gas treatment in aquaculture ponds
AQUA M5 is a 100% natural microbial product specially designed for aquaculture, offering powerful treatment of toxic gases in farming ponds. It contains no pathogenic bacteria and is safe for humans and aquatic animals.
AQUA M5 consists of a specially selected consortium of nitrogen-removing microorganisms that promote, establish, and maintain the nitrification process, effectively reducing toxic NH₃ (ammonia) and NO₂ (nitrite) levels in aquaculture ponds.
COMPONENT:
– Contains groups of heterotrophic, anaerobic, and photosynthetic microorganisms.

- Bacillus spp. (B. licheniformis, B. subtilis, B. amyloliquefaciens, etc.): 3 × 10⁸ CFU/ml

USES:
When shrimp show poor feeding activity, thin shells, or abnormal behavior, and rapid colorimetric testing indicates high NO₂ levels in the pond, Aqua M5 is recommended for toxic gas treatment.
– Effectively removes toxic gases such as NH₃ (ammonia), NO₂ (nitrite), and H₂S (hydrogen sulfide) from aquaculture ponds. Many users have reported reducing NO₂ concentrations in shrimp ponds from 5 mg/L to 0 within 7–14 days of application.
– Provides emergency support for shrimp suffering from oxygen deficiency or surfacing behavior caused by toxic gas accumulation. Helps prevent stress and mortality in shrimp and fish.
– Stabilizes pond water quality and maintains stable pH levels.
– Helps suppress pathogen development in aquaculture ponds. Supports recovery of weakened or diseased shrimp and promotes healthier growth.

APPLICATION:
– Apply every 7 days at a dosage of 1 liter per 1,500 m³ of pond water. (Dosage may be adjusted depending on actual pond conditions.)
– Dilute with pond water and evenly distribute across the pond surface.
– Apply in the morning (8:00–10:00 AM) while operating aeration systems to enhance treatment efficiency.
– Do not use antibiotics, disinfectants, or antibacterial chemicals during application (at least within 24 hours before and after use).
